Well, it has been a while but it’s time for a reboot. Like the Doctor coming back in a new reincarnation, My Kickdrum Heart is back as Brian Lambert and My Kickdrum Heart. To celebrate I have the release of “Dirty Phony Saints”. It is an album produced and record by myself with the help of a few good friends. I am very happy with this ecclectic mix of songs which is kind of like a primitive White Stripes, meets Beck in a pregrunge era. Also it is very exciting to have a version of one of my favorite Davíd Garza songs, “Slave” as part of this album. Please spread the word and get yourself a copy today.
For all of you who come out and see me live acoustically speaking and really enjoy those versions of the songs, I have also released an acoustic version of the album. It gives you a pretty good idea of what to expect when you see me live these days and is for those that prefer a stripped down version of the songs I like to layer up.
More exciting things to come so stay posted.
